Yogi Tea
1 gallon of water
12 cinnamon sicks
1 cup ginger (optional, originally given as just 1T)
96 cloves
108 cardamon pods
108 peppercorns

Once the water boils, put it on simmer for at least one hour.
Add 1-3 black tea bags (1 tea ball) for maximum of 5 min. Take the black tea out.

According to  Ayurveda (healing that orginated in India thousands of years ago) the black tea acts as a catalyst to boost the effects of the
spices to benefit the nervous system. Then you add milk until it turns a nice mauvebcolor, bring to a boil and serve.
This makes 1 really potent gallon of yogi tea!

Note:
The stock can be kept without adding the milk until it is ready to serve.
Vegans can use soy, almond, etc milk instead of cow or goat milk.
However the original recipe was given with milk and thus it is re-
spectfully shared that way. It is great for the immune system, nervous
system, and circulation, digestion. Enjoy!
